Glyncoch’s very own Mini Bus
Ymlaen Glyncoch has successfully applied to Coalfields Regeneration Trust for £15,000 for a Community Mini Bus. Any community group in Glyncoch will be able to use the bus once they have a volunteer driver trained! This should make it easier and cheaper for local groups to enjoy trips or attend training courses outside of Glyncoch.
‘We are really thrilled’ said Lyndon Bengough, chair of Ymlaen Glyncoch ‘many people have asked for a community bus so that the senior citizens can go on shopping trips and the youth can go on more frequent trips too. This is going to make such a difference to so man people in our community. We would like to say a huge thank you to Alun Taylor and his team at the Coalfields Regeneration Trust in Pontypridd as well as their colleagues in Rotherham.’
