Glyncoch Talent Strikes Again at KickJam!!

Another football tournament, another awesome display by the young footballers of Glyncoch who continue to represent the area at an amazingly high standard. On 20th June, seventeen of our local youth participated in KickJam2, a football tournament arranged by Caerphilly Council’s Fast Forward Team. PARK PILGRIMAGE - Glyncoch Residents Begin Raising Money For a New Park

On Saturday 12th April, Glyncoch residents and members of the Glyncoch Green And Friendly Action Group (GAFA), accompanied by some of the Glyncoch Communities First team, took to the streets donning Celt outfits and Glyncoch banners to re-tread an old pilgrimage route from Glyncoch to Llanwynno. £150,000 over three years to create a ‘time exchange network’ for the unsung hero’s of Glyncoch!

The Welsh Assembly Government has learned about the outstanding levels of volunteering that takes place in Glyncoch and is seeking to find a way to give recognition to the impact that volunteering has in a community. A Time Network Co-ordinator will soon be joining us to work with you to create ways in which volunteers can benefit more from volunteering and get the recognition they deserve. More...
